Maria E. Martinez, JD grew up in Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and then went on to receive her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2022 from the Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas.

Prior to attending law school, Maria worked as a legal analyst in the restaurant industry. Her role required her to review and draft contracts and aid corporate counsel in advising departments on best practices. While in law school, she was a student attorney in the tax clinic and community development clinic within the Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. She also interned at an asset management firm until being admitted to the Texas State Bar in 2023.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and cats. She loves the outdoors and is always looking for a chance to go for a run or hit the gym. She also enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants or coffee shops.
