Before earning his law degree, Thomas “Tom” R. Emmet owned and operated his own wealth management firm—an experience that gave him firsthand insight into the unique needs of both small business owners and high-net-worth individuals.

This background informs his legal approach, allowing him to provide practical, strategic counsel across a wide range of business and financial matters. Tom assists clients with everything from business formation and contract disputes to complex financial issues. His legal experience also includes probate matters, litigation, real estate transactions, and family law conflicts.

Originally from Connecticut, Tom moved to Texas after high school and has since lived throughout the DFW Metroplex. He is a devoted father to three wonderful children who keep him on his toes with their many activities. 

Outside of work, Tom is active in his local church and community. He enjoys baseball, outdoor adventures, and spending quality time with family and friends.
