Eric F. Dankesreiter is a seasoned civil trial attorney recognized for his responsiveness, strategic mindset, and strong work ethic—values instilled early on while working in his father’s mechanic shop and on his grandparents’ farm in Muenster, Texas. Those experiences taught him to “do things right the first time,” a principle that still guides his legal practice today.

Eric is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—a distinction held by less than 1% of all Texas attorneys (approximately 700 out of 111,000). Earning this credential requires extensive trial experience, rigorous peer and judicial reviews, and passing a comprehensive six-hour examination. Certification must also be renewed every five years through demonstrated practice and continuing education.

In addition, Eric is a proud member of the Texas Bar College, an honorary society of legal scholars committed to the highest ethical standards and ongoing professional education. Membership requires attorneys to complete at least double the CLE hours mandated by the State Bar, underscoring Eric’s dedication to staying current with legal developments.

With decades of experience, Eric represents clients in a wide range of civil matters, handling complex cases in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts for both plaintiffs and defendants. He approaches litigation with purpose—aggressive when necessary, but always cost-conscious. Clients value his direct communication and commitment to keeping them informed throughout the process.

Outside the courtroom, Eric is deeply involved in his community. He is active in St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Rotary International, and numerous local service initiatives. A former President of the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce, Eric has also volunteered abroad, including helping build a school in Nicaragua.

Eric is married to his high school sweetheart, Cheramie, who joined the firm in 2021. They have three children and enjoy spending time at Lake Texoma, gardening, and restoring Eric’s 1967 Ford F-100.
