With thirty years of experience, Cary has been involved in multiple practice areas.  Early in his career, there was considerable involvement in construction, municipal, oil and gas, and business litigation.  For the past twenty years, Cary has placed an emphasis on estate planning, business representation, and commercial real estate matters.

As the founder of Wigington & Dankesreiter, L.L.P., Cary has recruited and helped build a dynamic firm with an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.  Cary has helped the firm become heavily involved in representing individuals in their business endeavors.  Wigington & Dankesreiter, L.L.P. offers large firm expertise with small firm personal service.

Cary has also been involved in the firm's increased involvement in the representation of healthcare professionals.  Typical representation includes personal and business estate planning, entity formation, real estate lease and purchase transactions, construction representation, and ongoing corporate counsel activities.

Bar Admission

Cary was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1979, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, United States Court of Appeals Fifth District, United States Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Education

He received a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1978 and a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1975. 

Personal

Cary has always been active in charitable and service organizations.  Past and present participation include the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America, Christian Community Action, and Pediplace.  Although Cary has served in a number of leadership positions, he is more interested in hands on involvement and has participated in a number of volunteer construction projects domestically and outside of the U.S.  Although not currently flying, Cary holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating and numerous instructor ratings.  Most of Cary's weekends are spent working outdoors or on never ending remodeling projects.
